For this week’s free game Sunday, I reviewed a game called Realm Royale. This is a battle royal game where players compete to be the last alive.
When I first loaded this game, I was shown a lobby menu where I could buy items, complete quests, or just play. I pushed play. The default game mode selected was tutorial, but I could play a real match if I wanted. I chose to play the tutorial. When it loaded (this didn’t take very long) I was taken to a full tutorial that showed me how to do everything in the game. After I had completed it, I decided to go into my first match. I went into solos to test if there would be any skill-based match making. When I was playing, I realised that the enemies were not very good (like me). They also got harder each match that I played. This was great as it meant the noobs were not against great people. This means that everyone had a challenge, and nobody found the game very easy or very hard. The duos and squads were also even matches. This made the game be very fun as it was always a challenge.
Overall, I would rate this game 5/5 stars.
