For this week’s free game Sunday, I reviewed a game called dauntless. This is a 3rd person shooter game.
When I first loaded this game, I was brought to a tutorial. This was very helpful and showed me exactly how to play. This was a little bit confusing, but I quickly got the hang of it. The game showed me what each weapon was like and exactly how to use every attack. After I exited the tutorial, I could decide what weapon I wanted. This was great as players could get a weapon that best fit them. I also found that every weapon has strengths and weaknesses, so they are all even. This is good because if there was 1 really good weapon, players would only use that. I then headed into a match. Here I found that it was multiplayer and there were many bosses. The bosses were free to fight but would stay around the same area so there wasn’t 10 together. Online players could work with me to kill them. This then meant that we both worked together and we both got the rewards. Rewards auto went to the player so a 3rd person couldn’t steal everything.
Overall, I would rate this game 5/5 stars.
