For this week’s free game Sunday, I reviewed a game called Korgan. This is an adventure style game where a player works their way through a maze.
When I first loaded this game, I could choose single player or multiplayer. I then could pay to unlock level 1 or finish the prologue to start level 1. When I loaded the prologue, I found that there wasn’t any tutorial. There was a page of controls, but it didn’t show the player hoe to play. I then started to work my way through. I found that you have 3 characters. You can push 1 button to switch between them. This feature was really cool because if 1 character were about to die, we could use the other characters, so we have full health. There were also boosters, but it was unclear of what they did because the controls didn’t explain anything about boosters. After 25 minutes, I found that the game became very repetitive. We would have a round where we need to destroy portals, but then the next round would be to destroy spiders which were exactly the same as portals but just looked different.
Overall, I would rate this game 3.5/5 stars.
