For this week’s free game, I tested a game called ‘Hyperscape’. This is a battle royal game. There are different game modes so you can play on your own or play with other online players. You can customise you’re your whole character including your skin your gun patters and much more.
When I first loaded the game, I saw that it was a futuristic type game. I also saw many different characters and guns. When the game had loaded (which didn’t take very long), I was presented with a cut scene that explains the background of the game. After playing a few matches I realised that I am not good at solos because I always die but there was a game mode with teams of 24. In this game mode, I could get revived unlimited times until my whole team was dead. I found that the graphics of the game were good and that it was quite fast at loading. There were many different weapons that I could choose from. I could also upgrade my weapons and hacks by fusing them. For this, you have to find your same weapon and then click fuse. This can make your weapon stronger, but it can only be fused five times. When you fuse it for the fifth time, it has a super upgrade where it is then very good.
Although this game was all round good, the sounds when shooting are a little bit broken. Sometimes, when I fire my weapon, I cannot hear anything for a few seconds and then I suddenly hear anything. This glitch only happens when I fire my weapon which is annoying because it also happened when an opponent fires. This is bad because I cannot hear when I am getting shot at. This can then lead me to being dead without be even knowing that I had been shot.
Overall, I would rate this game 4 out of 5 stars. If these sound glitches were to be fixed, I would rate this game 5 stars. There are a few different places where you can add friend, but I didn’t as I was testing it.
