For this weeks episode of ‘Free Game Sunday’, I reviewed ‘Powerstar Golf’. In this game, a player can use real life equipment to play golf.
Whilst playing this game, I realised that it uses wind conditions, hills and spins to direct where the ball will finish. In addition to this, players can go into a drone like mode too see their golf course. They can do this whilst playing and before playing. In addition to these cool features, I realised that this game has good graphics and loads really fast. There was no lag whilst playing the game which was good because lag would have made this game really annoying. I also found that my AI opponent got progressively harder as I got better. For example, I would need to put the ball 10 times so they may need to 8 times but if I scored in 2 shots, they may score in 1. This is good because it help for me to get better and be good enough to play online.
Overall, I couldn’t find much that I didn’t like about this game except there are a lot of items that you have to buy. I know that they are a business to ultimately want to make money but it would be better if they had a trial so I could test them before purchasing them.
Overall, I would rate this game a 4.5 out of 5 stars. If there was to be a trial for the buyable items, I would rate this game 5 stars.
