Welcome to the first Call of Duty Modern Warfare campaign episode, I have begun my attempt at completing the Modern Warfare campaign on ‘Realism’ mode. Some people will be aware that this is the hardest mode on campaign; it involves low damage tolerance and a minimized HUD. This makes it much more difficult to play but it is still achievable.

Within this episode I managed to gain some achievements within the game which I was unable to gain the original time that I had completed this campaign. I also completed the first three missions, these being – ‘Fog of War’, ‘Piccadilly’ and ‘Embedded’. I attempted the next mission which was ‘Proxy War’ but I had put myself into a difficult situation and I will be trying to complete this mission next episode.

However, the beginning three missions were of great success, I managed to complete all three without having to retry them too many times. Although, I did need to take a couple of attempts in some checkpoints; I was still able to complete the mission and achieve the Xbox advancement gamer points for certain challenges along the way.

Out of the missions that I have completed so far, my favourite mission would probably be the ‘Embedded’ mission. This is since you could pick up enemy weapons, take an oil tube from a bike and attach it onto any weapon. This also included a conceal weapon feature where you could put your weapon away and hide it from others. I also loved how there were always creative spots for you to take out the enemies without them realising where you were before you did so. The best part of the mission, in my opinion, would probably be when I had to attach the remote explosives onto the helicopters so that it would cause a carnage to the hostile plan and would create a huge distraction.

On the other hand, the mission that I completed the smoothest, in my opinion would be the ‘Piccadilly’ mission. This was the mission that I could use my memory from the multiplayer and put it in use within this mission. This was because I knew my way around Piccadilly and where the enemies would be hiding. I had achieved the advancement where you cannot allow any civilians to get injured during this. I realised that I had not gained this before because you had to go into a little aqueduct where people were held hostage and save them before they died. I realised this by chance of going down there and checking If there were any enemies. Overall, I had a lot of fun attempting to complete the first couple of levels of campaign in ‘Realism’ mode. Although, I did face a couple of challenges along the way but, I was able to overcome these eventually I hope you all enjoy watching my gameplay within this episode and feel free to watch the next episode. Thank you for watching!
