For this week’s free game Sunday, I reviewed a game called Techwars Global Conflict. This is a 3rd person shooter game where mechs fight for an objective.
When I loaded this game up, I was put straight into an introduction. This was very helpful and told me everything that I needed to know. I didn’t have to search for it because it filled my screen. I then went into my first match and found that the controls were hard at first but easy to get use to. I found out that this game had realistic damage on the mechs. When I was shot in my left arm a lot, It fell of and I couldn’t use the weapons that were on there. I also found that I could buy different machines and even customise my own. By using them, they level up and give more perks and equipment.
Although this game was great, there isn’t a skilled based match making. This means that I was fighting a player that has a lot of experience and a great mech. But I have little experience and a terrible mech. This meant that in some matches, the enemy could easily destroy me.
Overall, I would rate this game 3/5 stars. If the matches were more even, it would definitely be 5 stars.
