For this weeks Free Game Sunday, I reviewed a game called spacelords. This is a 3rd person shooter game where players work together to defeat the enemies and explore the story.
When I first loaded this game, i was asked how often I play shooter games. This was really good as there were 3 options: all the time, not very often, never. This is cool because it allows the game to know if we are likely to play well or not so it can start us with even enemies. In this game, there are 4 players (you and 3 other online players) who work their way through the missions to complete the story. Each mission, you are put with different players, so it has different difficulties. In addition, if a high-level player decides to play the easy levels, they are rewarded with good loot. This is a great idea because it encourages the good players to help out the new. In the levels, there are AI enemies who attempt to kill you, it also works in zones. This idea is great because you can unlock and open new doors, but all players must be there. This also encourages teamwork as you can’t leave anyone behind. It also means that a player couldn’t just sprint through and get to the end without doing anything.
Overall, I would rate this game 5/5 stars.
