For this week’s free game Sunday, I reviewed a game called Too Human. This is a 3rd person shooter game where a player works with AI bots to complete a challenge.
When I first loaded the game, I found that there was a page with controls but no tutorial. After watching the cinematics and reading the controls, I went into the game. I was put in a large room with many objects on the walls and many statues. Although the area looked really cool, there wasn’t anything that said what to do so it took me a while to progress. After walking through the door, I found out that this follows on. There isn’t an objectives list, so it is hard to know what to do. After some time exploring, I was put against enemies. I had a lot of fun fighting but then I died. When I respawned, I saw that I was on full health, I still had all ammo and teammates, and I didn’t loose progress. This meant that dyeing had no consequences which would make players loose interest.
Overall, I would rate this game 3/5 stars.
