Hello everyone, welcome to day number two of Red attempting to survive 100 days in a ‘Hardcore One Block’ survival world. For those of you who are unsure, a hardcore world is a world that doesn’t allow you to respawn upon death… If I die the series ends!!!! To add to the challenge even further, I will be surviving on only one block. Essentially, throughout this series, I will be using the special blocks within the world that cycle through items to gather my resources. I can then utilise these resources to make farms – just like a regular survival world.

So, throughout this episode, i have managed to achieve the vast majority of the goals i had set for myself last episode. I have managed to create myself a basic storage area. This allows me to be more organised and arrange all my items where they need to be so that they’re easier to find – rather than in one chest. I have tried to use the materials that i have to give this a great aesthetic but i will need to improve this later on in the series.

Aswell as this, i have managed to form a basic villager trading system as a source of food. This makes use of my sugarcane farm that i have expanded so that i can grow more and more sugar cane. This then means that i crafted a cartography table so that i could give my villager a cartographer profession. Therefore, i could craft my sugarcane into paper and trade for emeralds.

I managed to create a source of food out of this by crafting a composter and providing another villager with the farmer profession. This allowed me to use the emeralds i traded for to buy food from the other villager. This isn’t the most ideal food source…. but it is all that was possible for a one block skyblock survival.

My aspirations for the next episode are to create a mob farm, this will allow me to gather more xp and the chance that the mobs will drop better loot for me to use later on in the series. I will also be able to make it to the nether! I realised after recording this video that i could’ve mined my gravel until i had flint so that i could make the flint and steel needed to ignite my portal.

I hope you guys all enjoy day number two of this one hundred-day series, comment down below any ideas of build you would like to see my build on my one block survival world.
