For this week’s game review, I reviewed a game called Star Wars: Squadrons. This is a flying game where a player flies 1st person planes and completes a story line.

When I first loaded this game, I was given the option to customise my character. After I had done this, I could choose which side I was on, alliance or first order. I was then brought into the game. I watched the cut scene which brought me to my place in my aircraft. I was then told to ply and follow my captain. This also taught me how to play the game. Whilst it was teaching me, it was making me fly around the sky with little objectives. This was as a really cool feature because it meant that players were getting used to the controls without them realising. In addition, the captain kept at the same speed as me so I would never go ahead of him or be left behind. After I had got used to the controls, we were attacked and had to defend. I was taught that you can divert all power. This meant that you could move slower but have better weapons. This was a really cool feature as it meant that players can’t have max everything. I also was taught that we can lock on it a target so that we would never loose them. In addition, I was showed how to use my map which meant I was never going to get lost. This game was also very realistic. When I crashed or went close to an engine, I took damage. This was really cool as it made sense and added some difficulty. I also found that the graphics were really good, and the game didn’t make me feel sick, even know it was a 1st person flying game.

Overall, I would rate his game 5/5 stars.
