Hello everyone, welcome to day number four of Red attempting to survive 100 days in a ‘Hardcore One Block’ survival world. For those of you who are unsure, a hardcore world is a world that doesn’t allow you to respawn upon death… If I die the series ends!!!! To add to the challenge even further, I will be surviving on only one block. Essentially, throughout this series, I will be using the special blocks within the world that cycle through items to gather my resources. I can then utilise these resources to make farms – just like a regular survival world.
So, throughout this episode, i have managed to achieve the vast majority of the goals i had set for myself last episode. I have managed to create myself a fully functioning mob/ xp farm. This can be developed, in later episodes i will probably add more layers onto this so that it is more efficient. It is a rather simple design as it consists of just a cobble stone tower, with sections for the mobs to spawn in, then flowing water so that it is pushed into the drop shoot. I have purposefully formed this so that it can provide me with xp as i will be able to kill the mobs myself.
Aswell as this, i have also mined more and more in the nether, this has allowed me to gain plenty more resources. I even came across a piece of ancient debris but i don’t have any diamonds to obtain it. I’m still grinding to try and find some diamonds so that i can get rich on this Also, don’t forget to comment when you guys would like to see my enter the end, i already have all the resources to open the ender portal!
My aspirations for the next episode are to create a house on my world, this will allow me to make my one block survival become more aesthetically pleasing. I am willing to take recommendations as to what design you would like to see my create. I will also be trying to obtain my first diamonds of the series so that i can improve my gear!
